The Koch Type SPT-550 Synthetic Bulk Roll is a 90-foot roll of airlayed polyester filter media, sized for cut-to-size installations and large-area filtration where pre-cut pads aren't practical. The media is constructed at 1″ nominal loft, 9.0 oz/sq yd weight, all white antimicrobial color, tackified (dry adhesive treatment for enhanced dust holding), dual-density (progressively dense, with denser fibers downstream), antimicrobial treatment, delivering ~MERV 8 efficiency per ASHRAE 52.2. Specified for healthcare, food processing, and institutional facilities where antimicrobial treatment is required alongside MERV 8 capture, including cut-to-size facility installations.

Choose bulk rolls when you need cut-to-size flexibility, large-area continuous installations, facility-scale economics, or non-standard dimensions. For applications requiring antimicrobial treatment, only the SPT-550 carries that specification. For higher-loft 2-inch frame applications, choose SPT-30. For dry-construction requirements (food processing, no-tackifier specs), choose SS5 or SS10.

Heavier widths ship one roll per carton. 40″, 50″, and 60″ rolls are oversized and ship individually. 20″ and 25″ widths can be combined in a single shipping carton when stocked together.
