RememberTheFilter.com operates this website and online store, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”).

RememberTheFilter.com is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Services. Please read them carefully, as they include important information about your legal rights, including disclaimers of warranties and limitations of liability.

By accessing, browsing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

SECTION 1 – ACCESS AND ACCOUNT

By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction or have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian.

You may be required to provide accurate, current, and complete information, including billing, payment, and shipping details. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Accounts may not be transferred, sold, or assigned.

We strive to accurately display product information, descriptions, specifications, and images. However, product appearance may vary depending on device or display settings.

We do not guarantee that product descriptions, images, compatibility references, specifications, pricing, or other content are error-free, complete, or current. Product offerings, specifications, availability, and pricing are subject to change without notice.

SECTION 3 – ORDERS

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. RememberTheFilter.com reserves the right to accept or decline any order at its discretion. Orders are not accepted until payment has been processed and confirmation is issued.

Please review orders carefully before submission. Cancellation requests may not be accommodated once an order has been accepted or processed.

All returns or exchanges are governed exclusively by our Refund Policy.

Orders are intended for personal or business use and not for unauthorized resale or export.

SECTION 4 – PRICES, DISCOUNTS, AND BILLING

Pricing

Prices are subject to change without notice. Prices shown at checkout are the prices in effect at the time of purchase and do not include taxes, shipping, or handling unless expressly stated.

Pricing Accuracy

Despite our best efforts, pricing or product information errors may occur. In the event of an error, RememberTheFilter.com reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order and to correct, amend, or remove inaccurate information at any time.

Discount Codes

Discount codes are subject to time limitations and may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice. Unless otherwise stated, discount codes may not be combined with other offers.

Saved Orders / Carts

Saving an order or cart does not guarantee pricing or availability. Customers are encouraged to complete orders promptly to secure current pricing.

You agree to provide accurate and complete payment information and authorize us to charge your payment method for all applicable charges.

SECTION 5 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, or events beyond our control.

Title and risk of loss pass to you upon transfer of products to the carrier.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

All damaged or lost shipments must be reported to RememberTheFilter.com Customer Care within ten (10) business days of delivery confirmation.

Incorrect Delivery Address / Reshipments

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Orders ship to the address exactly as entered. Please review your order confirmation carefully and notify us of any address error within 24 hours of placing your order. After this window, the order may already be in production or in transit and cannot be corrected.

Orders returned due to an incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the customer may be reshipped at the customer's expense. Reshipment fees reflect the actual shipping costs incurred.

Many orders ship directly from our manufacturing partners' fulfillment facilities. These are large-scale production operations that are not always equipped to receive, process, or recover returned shipments. When a package is returned due to an address error, reshipment depends entirely on whether the originating facility is able to recover the product and confirm it back to us in resalable condition. If the manufacturer is unable to recover the shipment, or reports it as lost or damaged, the order will be considered lost and a new order must be placed at full price. We are not responsible for products that are undeliverable, refused, lost, or damaged in transit as a result of an address error on the customer's part.

Reshipment fees may be waived at our sole discretion. Any waiver applies only to the specific order in question and does not modify this policy.

Refused Deliveries

Customers should not refuse delivery without first contacting RememberTheFilter.com. Unauthorized refusals may result in return shipping fees and may complicate or void damage claims.

SECTION 6 – ORDER CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS, AND CUSTOM PRODUCTS

24-Hour Review Period

Eligible non-custom products include a standard 24-hour review period after an order is placed before release to production. Changes may be requested via email or by calling Customer Care at 1-866-469-8556.

Customers may bypass the review period by requesting immediate production during checkout.

Production Times

Most standard filters are produced within approximately 4–6 business days after release to production.

Cancellations – Standard Products

Orders for standard (non-custom) products may be cancelled prior to shipment processing. Once a tracking number has been generated, cancellations are no longer possible.

Custom and Exact Filters®

Custom size filters and Exact Filters® are manufactured specifically for each order and cannot be cancelled once an order is placed or submitted to production.

SECTION 7 – TERMS OF SALE AND DISTRIBUTION

Geographic Scope of Shipments

All orders placed through RememberTheFilter.com are shipped exclusively to addresses within the United States and Canada. We do not facilitate or permit international shipments or exports to any other countries.

Responsible End-User Commitment

Our products, including high-efficiency and high-purity air filters (including MERV 14 and above), are intended for use by responsible end users in standard HVAC systems for residential, commercial, or industrial applications within the United States and Canada. Customers agree not to use, resell, transfer, or distribute products for unauthorized purposes or to restricted individuals or entities. For certain high-purity product orders, customers may be required to complete an End-User Certification to confirm compliance with these terms.

Compliance with Export and Trade Regulations

RememberTheFilter.com complies with all applicable United States and Canadian export control and trade regulations, including those administered by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and Canada’s Export and Import Permits Act. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their purchase, use, and distribution of products comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Prohibition on Resale to Restricted Parties

Products purchased from RememberTheFilter.com may not be resold, transferred, or distributed to any individual, entity, or destination subject to U.S. or Canadian sanctions or export restrictions, including but not limited to parties listed on the OFAC Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) List or the BIS Entity List.

Installation and Disposal of High-Purity Products

High-purity air filters (including MERV 14 and above) should be installed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and applicable industry standards. Professional installation by qualified HVAC technicians is strongly recommended. Used filters should be handled and disposed of responsibly, including sealing filters prior to disposal when appropriate, to minimize the release of captured contaminants.

Intended Use of Products

All products sold by RememberTheFilter.com are intended for use in standard HVAC systems for lawful residential, commercial, or industrial applications. Customers agree to use products solely for their intended purpose and not for any application prohibited by law.

By purchasing products from RememberTheFilter.com, customers acknowledge and agree to comply with these Terms of Sale and Distribution.

SECTION 8 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the Services, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and software, is owned by RememberTheFilter.com or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Use of the Services is permitted for personal, non-commercial purposes only unless otherwise authorized in writing.

SECTION 9 – OPTIONAL TOOLS AND THIRD-PARTY LINKS

We may provide access to third-party tools or links provided “as is” and “as available.” We are not responsible for third-party content, tools, or transactions.

SECTION 10 – RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

All transactions are between you and RememberTheFilter.com. Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of sales or products. You release Shopify and its affiliates from claims arising from purchases made through the Services.

SECTION 11 – PRIVACY POLICY

Personal information collected through the Services is governed by our Privacy Policy and Shopify’s Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you consent to such processing.

SECTION 15 – PHONE ORDERS

Customers placing phone orders are responsible for reviewing emailed order confirmations for accuracy. Failure to verify accuracy may void applicable satisfaction guarantees. If an order confirmation is not received, customers must contact us promptly.

SECTION 16 – TERMINATION

We may terminate or suspend access to the Services at any time. Obligations incurred prior to termination remain enforceable.

SECTION 17 – DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The Services and all products are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, except where prohibited by law.
