Product details
Per Koch Bulletin PB-693-1, the Koch SprayStop FG Fiberglass Paint Arrestor Bulk Roll is designed specifically for economical paint overspray collection. Per Koch PB-693-1, the media is approximately 2″ thick and is constructed of thousands of continuous filament glass fibers formed into a progressively dense bulk roll. This graduated density forces paint particles to permeate the entire filter from back to front. Full depth loading provides longer service life and less downtime.
Per Koch PB-693-1, SprayStop FG is an excellent paint arrestor for all types of paints and coatings — effectively removing overspray solids from lacquers, air-dry enamels, and bake enamels. The upstream side is green in color and the downstream side is white, ensuring correct installation orientation.
Thermoset bonding resin: superior compression strength (per Koch PB-693-1)
Per Koch PB-693-1, SprayStop FG utilizes a unique thermoset bonding resin that provides superior compression strength. This specialized component allows each pad to spring back to full thickness upon removal from the carton. Per Koch product literature, this superior resiliency means SprayStop FG can be bulk-packaged — resulting in low storage space requirements and better coatings collection performance.
What you get: one bulk roll, cut to size on your end
Each variant is one single bulk roll. The variant price is the per-roll price. SprayStop FG bulk rolls are available in standard 300 ft lengths plus special-format 1020″ rolls. Available widths and lengths:
- 20″ x 300 ft x 2″ — ~500.0 sq ft of media per roll
- 25″ x 300 ft x 2″ — ~625.0 sq ft of media per roll
- 30″ x 300 ft x 2″ — ~750.0 sq ft of media per roll
- 36″ x 300 ft x 2″ — ~900.0 sq ft of media per roll
- 40″ x 300 ft x 2″ — ~1000.0 sq ft of media per roll
- 45″ x 300 ft x 2″ — ~1125.0 sq ft of media per roll
- 60″ x 300 ft x 2″ — ~1500.0 sq ft of media per roll
- 20″ x 1020″ x 2″ — ~141.7 sq ft of media per roll

NESHAP compliance: 6H vs. 6X
Paint spray booth operations in the United States are regulated under the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP), codified in 40 CFR Part 63. The two subparts most relevant to spray booth filtration are Subpart 6H and Subpart 6X.
Auto Body & Miscellaneous Surface Coating
40 CFR Part 63 Subpart HHHHHH applies to auto body refinishing, collision repair, and miscellaneous surface coating of motor vehicles and mobile equipment.
Spray booth exhaust filtration must demonstrate paint overspray capture efficiency at the level required by the rule, with media tested under ASHRAE 52.1 or an equivalent EPA-recognized method.
Area Source Metal Fabrication & Finishing
40 CFR Part 63 Subpart XXXXXX applies to area-source metal fabrication and finishing operations, including spray painting of fabricated metal parts.
Compliance typically requires control of particulate hazardous air pollutants from spray application through filter-based capture systems verified for the specific coating operation.
