The Koch BioMAX V2400 is a high-capacity mini-pleat HEPA filter in a 5V-bank configuration. The aluminum-frame variant is built for pharmaceutical, hospital, biotech laboratory, and other critical environments where airborne contaminant control is paramount — protecting people, processes, and equipment with 99.97% efficiency on 0.3-micron particles. Filters are tested for overall efficiency at the factory.
Mini-pleat 5V-bank construction
The V2400 uses a mini-pleat bead-separator pack assembled in a V-bank configuration within rigid aluminum cell sides. The mini-pleat geometry maximizes media area in a compact 11-1/2" depth, delivering more dust-holding capacity, longer service life, and lower pressure drop than conventional HEPA filter designs.
Water-repellent microfiberglass media
The pack is constructed of water-repellent ultra-fine microfiberglass media. The pleat spacing is maintained by an adhesive bead, eliminating the need for separator strips and improving airflow characteristics. The water-repellent treatment provides protection against humidity exposure during installation and operation.
Leak-free polyurethane sealant
A non off-gassing polyurethane sealant bonds the pack to the frame, fully potting the interface between filter pack and frame. This eliminates the bypass leakage pathways common in mechanically-clamped HEPA filter assemblies and ensures the filter performs at its rated efficiency throughout service life.
High-velocity capability
Because of the V2400's structural integrity, it can be installed in HVAC systems with face velocities up to 650 FPM. Initial resistance at 500 FPM is 1.2" w.g. across the V2400 line, giving facility engineers latitude to specify filter housings sized for either standard 500 FPM HVAC velocity or higher-velocity recirculation applications.
Closed-cell neoprene downstream gasket
Each V2400 ships with a 1/4" x 3/4" closed-cell neoprene gasket on the downstream side. The gasket creates a positive seal against the filter housing track, preventing bypass during installation. Other gasket configurations and frame materials (galvanized steel, stainless steel) are available on request — request a quote with your housing specifications.
UL 900 classified, American manufactured components
The V2400 carries a UL 900 fire classification and is manufactured from high-quality American components. It is suitable for use as a final filter in cleanroom, isolation room, biocontainment, and laminar-flow applications where serial-numbered traceability is required for facility certification and validation testing.
What you get
Each variant ships in cartons per Koch's standard packaging. Refer to your variant's label for case quantity. The price you see is the per-filter price; case quantities and freight on full pallets are quoted on request.
