This 12″ × 24″ × 4″ AAF Flanders PrecisionCell rigid filter (part number 89855.041224) is an extended-media separator-type rigid filter rated MERV 14, designed for commercial and industrial HVAC where medium-to-high-efficiency filtration and rigid construction are both required.

Separator-type construction

PrecisionCell uses corrugated separators between the pleats to maintain exact pleat spacing across the full airflow range — up to 625 FPM face velocity on 12-inch-deep filters. The result: consistent airflow, consistent efficiency, and a rigid construction that holds up in VAV systems where non-rigid filters would deform.

Standard residential HVAC equipment is rarely rated for MERV 14 static pressure.
