When to Choose M11 vs. M13

If your facility has sensitive populations (children, elderly, immunocompromised, allergy patients) or if your spec calls for tighter-than-MERV-8 filtration, MERV 11 is the most common upgrade path. MERV 13 is required for hospital patient areas and post-COVID government baseline; MERV 11 is a more cost-effective option where MERV 13 isn't strictly required.
