The PerfectPleat HC is AAF Flanders' high-capacity 2″ and 4″ MERV 8 pleated commercial filter — built around the signature self-supported pleat pack with no metal backing. The high-capacity construction delivers 2–3× the dust-holding capacity of standard 1″ pleats while maintaining low pressure drop, so facilities running RTUs and AHUs get significantly extended service intervals at the same MERV 8 baseline efficiency.

Why HC Over Standard Capacity

Standard-capacity 1″ pleats have a finite media area. In high-airflow commercial applications, they load up faster than monthly maintenance schedules can accommodate. The HC version's deeper media pack effectively triples the dust-holding capacity at the same MERV 8 efficiency — meaning quarterly or semi-annual change-outs instead of monthly.
