AAF Flanders Filter Pads | Pre-Cut Foam, Polyester & Spun Glass

AAF Flanders Filter Pads & Pre-Cut Media

Filter pads are pre-cut filter media in nominal sizes — drop-in replacements for grille filters, hammock racks, return air boxes, and equipment-mounted filter housings. Where roll media requires on-site cutting, pads ship pre-sized and ready to install. AAF Flanders manufactures filter pads across the full media spectrum: spun fiberglass, foam, polyester, and washable aluminum-frame options.

Where Pads Get Used

• Window AC and PTAC units — pre-cut foam pads for grille filters
• Return air box filtration — drop-in panel filters where rack systems aren't installed
• Paint spray booth exhaust — arrestance pads for overspray capture
• Server rooms and IT closets — equipment-mounted pad filters
• Older commercial systems — hammock-style return air filtration

Pad vs. Roll vs. Pleated — Which to Choose

• Pads — when you need a quick drop-in replacement at a standard size, no cutting required
• Roll media — when sizes are non-standard or you're cutting filters in-shop
• Pleated panel filters — when MERV 8 or higher efficiency is required for IAQ
