Product details
Per Koch Bulletin PB-798-9, SprayStop STK is an extremely durable paint arrestor composed of 100% multi-denier synthetic fibers arranged in a progressively dense configuration — coarse on the air-entering side and finer toward the air-exiting side. This graduated density allows paint particles to permeate the media from back to front. Per Koch PB-798-9, this full depth loading enables SprayStop STK to provide up to 96% removal efficiency when used to collect aerospace primers and powder coat materials, with 79.5% fractional efficiency at 3 microns. With longer service life and less downtime, the unique capabilities of SprayStop STK protect against stack contamination and provide maximum achievable control of chromate-laden primers and other coating materials. Per Koch PB-798-9, the upstream side is red and the downstream side is tinted purple to ensure correct installation. Acrylic binders, no halogens.
What you get: one bulk roll, cut to size on your end
Each variant is one single bulk roll, 90 ft long. The variant price is the per-roll price. Per Koch PB-798-9, SprayStop STK is also available in pre-cut pads, blankets, and service rolls (not stocked on this page — request a quote for those configurations). Available widths and lengths:
- 36″ x 90 ft — ~270.0 sq ft of media per roll
- 45″ x 90 ft — ~337.5 sq ft of media per roll
- 48″ x 90 ft — ~360.0 sq ft of media per roll
- 61″ x 90 ft — ~457.5 sq ft of media per roll
- 97″ x 90 ft — ~727.5 sq ft of media per roll

Sizing and ordering notes
- Each variant is one single bulk roll. Order multiple rolls by adjusting the quantity at checkout.
- Cut to size on-site. The dual density synthetic media trims cleanly with a sharp utility knife.
- Install red-side-up against the airstream. Per Koch PB-798-9, installing STK backwards severely degrades performance.
- Available pads, blankets, and service rolls are not stocked on this page. Request a quote for those configurations or for facility-scale orders.
- Heavier widths ship as freight. Larger rolls are oversized and ship LTL freight.
- Disposal: Acrylic binders with no halogens. Follow your local hazardous waste regulations for paint-saturated arrestors.

NESHAP compliance: 6H vs. 6X
Paint spray booth operations in the United States are regulated under the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP), codified in 40 CFR Part 63. The two subparts most relevant to spray booth filtration are Subpart 6H and Subpart 6X.
Auto Body & Miscellaneous Surface Coating
40 CFR Part 63 Subpart HHHHHH applies to auto body refinishing, collision repair, and miscellaneous surface coating of motor vehicles and mobile equipment.
Spray booth exhaust filtration must demonstrate paint overspray capture efficiency at the level required by the rule, with media tested under ASHRAE 52.1 or an equivalent EPA-recognized method.
Area Source Metal Fabrication & Finishing
40 CFR Part 63 Subpart XXXXXX applies to area-source metal fabrication and finishing operations, including spray painting of fabricated metal parts.
Compliance typically requires control of particulate hazardous air pollutants from spray application through filter-based capture systems verified for the specific coating operation.
Provided for general reference only and does not constitute regulatory or legal advice. The end user and facility operator are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local air quality regulations. Filter selection for a regulated coating operation should be confirmed against the facility's air permit.

Verify Booth Filter Slot Dimensions Customers are responsible for verifying their paint spray booth's filter slot dimensions, frame depth, and any equipment-specific mounting requirements before placing an order. Booth manufacturers occasionally revise filter slot specifications between model years and production runs. When in doubt, measure the existing filter or consult the booth manufacturer's documentation prior to ordering.
Compliance Responsibility The end user and facility operator are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local air quality regulations, including but not limited to NESHAP 40 CFR Part 63 Subpart HHHHHH (6H), Subpart XXXXXX (6X), state implementation plans, and local air district rules. RememberTheFilter.com supplies filtration products and general reference information; we do not provide regulatory determinations, permitting guidance, or legal advice. Filter selection for a regulated coating operation should be confirmed against the facility's air permit and applicable rules.
