NaturalAire Pleated Air Filters
Individually sealed pleated filters for residential and light-commercial HVAC. Three MERV tiers — 8, 10, and 13 — built on the same trusted construction. Each filter shipped in its own protective wrapping for clean installation, every time.
NaturalAire is AAF Flanders' individually sealed pleated filter line — the same engineering that goes into commercial Pre-Pleat product, packaged and sized for residential and light-commercial use. The defining feature: every single filter ships in its own protective wrapping, so dust from the warehouse, the truck, or the supply closet never touches the media before it goes into your system.
Individually sealed
Every filter ships in its own protective wrapping. Pleats arrive uncrushed, media stays clean, installation is straight from the bag.
Three MERV tiers
Standard MERV 8, Microparticle MERV 10, and Healthy Ultra MERV 13 — same construction, different efficiency. Step up without changing brands.
AAF Flanders engineering
The same media, frame construction, and quality control that backs AAF's commercial product line. UL 900 Classified across all three MERV tiers.
3-month service life
Designed for 90-day replacement intervals in standard residential systems — 3× the change interval of fiberglass at meaningfully higher efficiency.
Choose your NaturalAire MERV tier
All three tiers are individually sealed, all three install in standard 1″ residential racks, all three are AAF Flanders engineered. The only question is what level of capture your home or facility needs.

NaturalAire filters: common questions
What does "individually sealed" actually mean?
Every single NaturalAire filter ships in its own protective wrapping — not just the case. When a filter sits in a warehouse, on a delivery truck, or in your supply closet for weeks before installation, the wrapping keeps dust and contaminants off the media so the filter performs at full rated efficiency from day one. It's a small detail with a real performance impact.
What's the difference between MERV 8, 10, and 13?
MERV 8 (NaturalAire Standard) captures pollen, larger dust, dust mites, and textile fibers — the residential default. MERV 10 (Microparticle) adds finer dust, mold spores, and pet dander. MERV 13 (Healthy Ultra) adds bacteria, fine smoke, and virus-sized aerosols. All three install in the same 1″ rack — the only differences are media density and capture efficiency.
How often should I replace a NaturalAire filter?
Every 90 days is the standard residential interval across all three MERV tiers. Households with pets, smokers, or allergy concerns may want to step to 60-day replacement. Light-commercial applications often run 60–90 days depending on occupancy and dust load. The filter doesn't degrade over time — it loads with particles and starts restricting airflow.
Do NaturalAire filters fit Air Bear or Aprilaire cabinets?
No — NaturalAire is a 1″ deep pleated filter for standard return-grille and filter-rack racks. Whole-home media cabinets (Trion Air Bear, Aprilaire, Honeywell, Space-Gard) take 4″ or 5″ deep media filters in different sizes. See our Air Bear & Whole-Home collection for cabinet-compatible filters.
Will MERV 13 restrict airflow on my system?
NaturalAire Healthy Ultra MERV 13 has higher pressure drop than MERV 8 by design — more efficient capture means more resistance. On most modern residential systems with a 1″ filter slot it works without issue. On older systems already operating near static pressure limits, your HVAC contractor may want to verify before stepping up. If you're unsure, MERV 10 is the safer mid-tier upgrade.
Do you carry the NaturalAire Odor Eliminator?
Yes. NaturalAire Odor Eliminator combines MERV 8 base media with activated carbon and baking soda for cooking smells, pet odors, smoke, and VOCs. Shop the Odor Eliminator collection. It's the right pick for kitchens, pet households, smokers, and homes near agricultural or industrial odor sources.
Are NaturalAire filters made by AAF Flanders?
Yes. NaturalAire is manufactured by AAF Flanders, the world's largest air filter manufacturer. RememberTheFilter has been an authorized AAF Flanders dealer since 2006, with every NaturalAire order sourced through official channels.
Do you carry custom NaturalAire sizes?
Yes. Non-standard NaturalAire pleated sizes are available through our custom filter builder in 1/8″ increments. For bulk facility runs of non-catalog sizes, request a quote.
How do I measure my filter for replacement?
Remove your existing filter and check the nominal size printed on the frame (like 16x25x1). That's usually the size you order. If your system doesn't use a standard nominal size, measure the actual filter slot to the nearest 1/8″ — our measurement guide walks through it.
