EZ-Flow Fiberglass Air Filters

The spun fiberglass panel filter engineered for equipment protection and maximum airflow. Efficiency builds as the filter loads — MERV 1 clean, up to MERV 4 fully seated. 94 sizes in stock, 1″ depth.

What EZ-Flow is built for

EZ-Flow isn't a pleated filter — and that's intentional. It's a spun fiberglass panel with one job: protect your HVAC equipment while letting air move freely. The result is lower static pressure, longer equipment life, and a filter that actually gets more efficient the longer it runs.

Equipment protection

Stops lint, dust, hair, and larger particles before they reach coils, blowers, and heat exchangers. Extends the life of your HVAC system.

Maximum airflow

Lowest static pressure of any AAF Flanders panel filter. Ideal for older systems or high-CFM applications where a pleated filter would overload the blower.

Efficiency builds as it loads

Rated MERV 1–4 because fiberglass starts at MERV 1 clean and loads up to MERV 4 as particles capture. The filter gets better at its job with use.

One-piece chipboard frame

Heavy chipboard frame with hot-melt adhesive on both upstream and downstream perimeters. No corner separation, no collapse under load.

94 EZ-Flow sizes in stock

Every common residential size plus dozens of odd sizes that pleated lines don't cover. All 1″ depth, sold in 12-packs for case pricing.

When EZ-Flow is the right call

Good fit
  • Older furnaces or HVAC systems that strain under pleated filter pressure drop
  • High-CFM commercial systems where airflow matters more than fine particle capture
  • Pre-filter stage in front of a higher-MERV final filter
  • Workshops, garages, and industrial settings where larger particles dominate
  • Rental properties and multi-unit housing where frequent, inexpensive changes make sense
Consider upgrading
  • If you have allergies or asthma — step up to a pleated MERV 8, 10, or 13
  • If your HVAC system is modern and handles higher static pressure well
  • If you need bacteria or aerosol capture — MERV 13 is the residential minimum for that
  • If your system is speced to ASHRAE 170 or similar commercial standards

Looking at alternatives? Compare with NaturalAire pleated (MERV 8–13, individually sealed) or our PrimeShield MAX Airflow tier — also MERV 1–4, also fiberglass, positioned as a price-competitive option alongside EZ-Flow.

EZ-Flow filters: common questions

Why is EZ-Flow rated MERV 1–4 instead of a single number?

Fiberglass panel filters build efficiency as they load. A clean EZ-Flow starts at MERV 1; as particles capture onto the fibers, the filter media tightens and efficiency climbs toward MERV 4. The range reflects the filter's actual performance across its service life — not a lower-quality rating. It's purpose-built for airflow and equipment protection, not fine-particle capture.

How often should I replace an EZ-Flow filter?

Every 30 days is the standard interval for 1″ fiberglass panel filters in most residential systems. Commercial and high-traffic applications may need 2–4 week changes. Because EZ-Flow is inexpensive and sold in 12-packs, monthly replacement is the practical and recommended approach.

Is EZ-Flow better than a pleated filter?

Better for its specific job, yes — equipment protection and airflow. Worse for fine particle capture. If your priority is maximum airflow through an older system or you need a cheap pre-filter before a higher-MERV final stage, EZ-Flow wins. If you want to capture pollen, mold spores, pet dander, or respiratory aerosols, step up to a pleated MERV 8, 10, or 13 filter.

Can I use EZ-Flow as a pre-filter for a higher-MERV system?

Yes — this is a common commercial and industrial use case. EZ-Flow catches the bulk of larger particles upstream, extending the service life of a more expensive MERV 11, 13, or HEPA final filter. If you're building a multi-stage filtration system, request a quote and we'll help you spec it.

Are EZ-Flow filters made by AAF Flanders?

Yes. EZ-Flow is manufactured by AAF Flanders, the world's largest air filter manufacturer. RememberTheFilter has been an authorized AAF Flanders dealer since 2006, with every EZ-Flow order sourced through official channels.

Do you carry custom EZ-Flow sizes?

Yes. Non-standard fiberglass panel sizes are available through our custom filter builder in 1/8″ increments. For bulk facility runs of non-catalog sizes, request a quote.

How do I measure my filter for replacement?

Remove your existing filter and check the nominal size printed on the frame (like 16x25x1). That's usually the size you order. If your system doesn't use a standard nominal size, measure the actual filter slot to the nearest 1/8″ — our measurement guide walks through it.

Buying EZ-Flow in bulk for a facility or property?

We offer case pricing, standing delivery schedules, and PO terms for qualified commercial accounts. Common use cases: multi-family housing, industrial plants, equipment pre-filtering, and large facility HVAC.
