What "Basic" Means

Basic filters capture large particulate (dust, lint, hair, carpet fibers) to protect your HVAC equipment from debris. They're not designed to improve indoor air quality. If allergies, pets, smoke, or asthma are concerns, step up to at least MERV 8 pleated.
