The Naturalaire MERV 8
The NaturalAire Standard has an ASHRAE 52.2 rating of MERV 8. This filter is convenient to use and easy to replace. Ordinary furnace filters are designed to protect heating and cooling equipment from the insulating properties of relatively large airborne particles. The NaturalAire Standard goes far beyond that, removing even those microscopic particles that can stain walls and furnishings, or worse—aggravate seasonal allergies.
Greater Filter Surface Area for Longer Life and Better Filter Efficiency. The more filter area you have, the better the ability to trap dirt, pollen and other particles. Naturalaire pleated filter design provides more filtration surface area. It's like having more than one filter.
How Does it work? Large dust particles are carried to the deepest part of the pleat, while smaller particles lodge in the sides. The tremendous amount of filter surface area means higher dust-holding capacity with minimum airflow resistance.
